Alex is the President of Skyview Financial Group, LLC. After twenty-five years as a Financial Advisor at major investment firms, Alex founded Skyview to provide clients with unbiased, autonomous advice — without the conflicts inherent at most investment firms.
Background
Alex established Skyview as a Registered Investment Advisor so he could deliver advice grounded in a single principle: the client's interest comes first. While working at Merrill Lynch, UBS Financial Services, and Raymond James and Associates, he developed a passion for portfolio management and financial planning — and increasingly recognized that the major-firm structure made it difficult to fully serve clients without competing pressures.
His experiences at these institutions motivated him to find a better way of servicing client needs. One without conflicts of interest. One without incentivized product pushing. One where the advisor's compensation aligns directly with the client's outcomes, not the firm's product shelf.
Philosophy
As a fiduciary, Alex is held to a higher standard and is legally obligated to act in his clients' best interest. He works only for his clients while providing best-in-class service — built around comprehensive financial planning, evidence-based investment management, and long-term relationships rooted in trust.
Alex holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, an advanced credential from Investments & Wealth Institute focused on portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation strategy for affluent clients. He also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designation, which equips him to navigate the complex financial dynamics of divorce — from asset division to long-term planning for both parties.
Personal
Born and raised in New York City, Alex spends time in both the Northeast and Florida serving his clients. He is married to his wife, Lily, and has three sons — Alex Jr., Chris, and Daniel. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and is an avid golfer.
